Local Man that Always Carries Phone that Records his Every Move Fears Bill Gates is Trying to Microchip Him
SPRINGFIELD, IL — Local resident Steve Johnson, a 35-year-old self-proclaimed tech skeptic, is raising alarms in his community with his fervent belief that billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates is planning to microchip everyone.
"I've read the articles and watched the videos," said Johnson, while holding his phone, which was actively tracking his location and listening to his every word. "Bill Gates wants to control us all. Those vaccines are just a cover for implanting microchips."
Johnson's phone, equipped with multiple cameras, microphones, GPS, and various apps that monitor his activity, vibrated with notifications as he passionately explained his theory. "It's all about control. They want to know where we are, what we're doing, who we're talking to."
When asked about his constant use of a device that already does all those things, Johnson responded, "That's different. My phone is necessary. How else am I supposed to keep up with the latest conspiracy theories and alert others about the dangers of being monitored?"
Despite the irony, Johnson remains adamant about his stance. He regularly updates his social media accounts, all of which are connected to various data-collecting platforms, with warnings about the impending microchip threat. His posts are often accompanied by selfies, geotagged locations, and detailed accounts of his daily routines.
"I refuse to be a pawn in Gates' game," Johnson declared, moments before using facial recognition to unlock his phone and post another warning online. "People need to wake up and see the truth."
Despite the contradictory nature of his concerns, Johnson continues to rally his neighbors against the perceived microchip threat. He's even started an online petition, which requires email addresses, phone numbers, and other personal information, to demand transparency from tech companies and the government.
