WASHINGTON, DC - After a tumultuous meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and President Donald Trump, Trump stated during his congressional address that having a “nice steak dinner” could lead to the brokering of a peace deal with Russia.

Trump, who claimed to have "brokered the best deals, the very best," suggested that all world conflicts could be solved with a well-cooked ribeye and a solid handshake, provided Zelensky picked up the check. "You know, Zelensky’s a nice guy, but let’s be honest, he’s getting a lot of free stuff," Trump said. "I think it’s time he steps up. If he wants peace, he can buy the steak. Maybe even some lobster. We’ll see."

The former president elaborated on his steakhouse diplomacy strategy during a press conference. "Putin, he’s a meat-and-potatoes guy, okay? Loves a good steak. You get him in a room, medium-rare filet, maybe some creamed spinach, and boom—no more war. It’s that easy. And look, Zelensky is getting billions in aid. The least he can do is pick up the tab. Fair is fair."
