Trump Admits He Does Not Know Definition of the Word ‘Christian’
WASHINGTON - During a speech held at the White House, President Trump, who claims to have never asked Jesus Christ for forgiveness of his sins, claimed he has never heard of the word “Christian” nor does he know what the word means.
“What does that even mean?” Trump asked, squinting suspiciously at a Fox News reporter. “Is that, like, a brand? Because if it’s a brand, it’s probably not as big as Trump.”
After the reporter responded that “Christian’s are defined as followers of Jesus Christ,” Trump explained, “I love Jesus. Great guy. Terrific brand awareness. The crowds he had were almost as big as mine, and mine were bigger. People don’t talk about that enough. Nobody’s ever seen crowds like mine, not even in the Bible.”
As Trump gestured wildly with his hands, he continued by stating “You know, they say Jesus died on the cross and rose again, but try getting shot in the ear and surviving an assassination attempt. Once Jesus does that, then I’ll ask him for forgiveness.”
